DESCRIBE HOW YOU HAVE MENTORED OTHER WOMEN IN THE COMMUNITY:

In early 2011, my business partner and I started our own brokerage CORIE PROPERTIES, supported by our impressive roster of longtime clients. I created an entire business plan for the new business. I created marketing protocol for the company and property marketing concentrating on technology and personal attention to clients. I created checklists, marketing tools and guidelines for all aspects of running a real estate business. I am the Broker of Record, CEO for the company and manage 10 successful agents. I have been a Multi Million dollar producer my entire career and I pride myself in being a mentor for the agents in our company.

I have mentored other women while working with the Women’s Council as Vice President of Membership, Involved in the Woman of the Year Campaign, Cancer Center Council and other organizations. I also still make time to be available for all of my agents and go with them on their listing appointments. I help them through the process and I always am available for them. I want our agents to know as much as I know.

I am involved in the “Woman to Woman” events that help women in the community find and receive necessary healthcare with or without insurance in place. I have been the speaker at few events pertaining to Women’s Health. Being a Breast Cancer Survivor and now being a business owner and mentor for other survivors I hope I give hope for those that are struggling with health issues.

I take great pride that I am a breast cancer survivor. I was diagnosed in 2006 and I underwent months of chemotherapy, radiation, surgeries and other procedures in order to fight cancer. I have been cancer free 5 years. I make a point to reach out to every person that is diagnosed with breast cancer or any other cancer. I was a single mother with 2 children when I was diagnosed. I want every person that is given a horrible diagnosis to know that there is A WHOLE LOT OF LIFE AFTER CANCER!
