As the 2020 State President of Women’s Council Texas, Sheryl provides vision & oversees State Network operations, ensuring compliance with State/National operating standards. She encourages and Inspires member involvement and raises major funds to support the State’s programs. She is a Women’s Council National governing board member. Sheryl mentors, trains & supports over 1000 current members, plus provide conflict resolution where needed. She plans, organizes & facilitates two (2) state meetings, and collaborates and build relationships with the Houston Association of REALTORS®, Texas REALTORS® Association and other affiliated organizations.
Sheryl joined Women’s Council of Realtors in 2006 and has served on many committees. She is a member of the Great Northwest Network where she served as President in 2010 and again in 2014 before moving up into State leadership as District Vice President and Newsletter Chair in 2015, Governor, Area B (which encompasses the Dallas market) in 2016, Secretary in 2017, Treasurer in 2018, and President-Elect in 2019. She served on the National Finance and Budget Committee in 2018.
She has numerous designations including: The Performance Management Network (PMN), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR); Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE); Short Sale and Foreclosure Certification (SFR); Accredited Staging Professional (ASP); Certified Distress Property Expert (CDPE): and Certified Equator Agent.
She is very proud two awards, first, leading her network to win the Women’s Council of Realtors National Retention Award for 2008, and being the recipient of the Member of the Year Award for Women’s Council Great Northwest in 2014.
Sheryl currently serves as a member of TREPAC committee, and the Houston Government Affairs committee.
Sheryl and her husband Jimmy are empty nesters and have two children, Shannon and Tremain, a son-in-law, Reggie and a grandson, Isiah, who all live in Kansas City.
Peggie has served the council as the Houston Network president twice, a District Vice President, Governor, Secretary and Treasurer of the Texas Network and currently as the President Elect. At the National level, Peggie has served on the Finance and Budget Committee (twice), 2020 Awards Task Force, and the 2018 Global Project Team. She currently serves on the Governmental Affairs Advisory and the International Advisory Committees of the Houston Association of Realtors® and was this year’s Affiliate Representative for the Council on the Global Business and Alliances Committee of the National Association of Realtors®. She has obtained the designations of Accredited Buyers Rep (ABR), Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Performance Management Network (PMN) and the Brookfield Relocation designation as a Certified Relocation Specialist (CRS). She is a proud graduate of the Inaugural class of the Leadership Institute in 2019.
She admits to being most proud of her experience as a Local Network President where she was able to revive it from disbandment and in fact, with the efforts of her legacy Team, bring it to Mega Status! She enjoys working with the latest technologies and utilizing her background as a Trainer and Coach to develop ways to successfully facilitate the Mission of the Council with the Members and Network Boards throughout the State.
She is a certified Civil Mediator, has been a Family Law Legal Assistant, is a Platinum Toastmaster and serving on the Board of the oldest Women’s Business Exchange Club in Houston, River Oaks Business Women’s Exchange Club, for the 3rd time. She has served on various other Charities on their boards or as a volunteer including the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo International and School Art Auction Committees, The American Cancer Society’s VICTORY Committee, The Houston Symphony, Houston Ballet, and the now disbanded Zoo Friends of Houston.
She enjoys hiking in Colorado where she and her husband and adult daughter have had a home for over 30 years. She speaks conversational Spanish, has a Master of Art in Human Sciences; Sociology and a Bachelor of Science; Real Estate, both from the University of Houston system.
Patti St Louis began her real estate career working for a builder fresh out of high school. She became a licensed Texas REALTOR® in 1983 and entered the title business in 1997.
Patti is a long time member of the Women’s Council of REALTORS. She is a recipient of the Montgomery County Network Affiliate of the Year Award, and has served the network in all capacities. As the President in 2009, on behalf of the members Patti accepted the National award for the 2009 Mega Chapter of the Year, one of the highest honors a chapter could receive.
Patti’s roles at the state level include Chairman of multiple committees, District Vice President, Governor and Secretary. She is a recipient of the Texas Affiliate of the Year award and is currently serving as our 201 State Secretary.
Patti is a resource in many areas for her customers and the real estate community including education, knowledge, facilitating focus groups, fundraising and referral networks. She has built her business through relationships, trust and experience. Patti has also built a strong, welcoming team as Branch Manager of South Land Title in The Woodlands.
Lizeth moved to El Paso in 2001 to pursue a college education and graduated from the University of Texas El Paso with a Bachelors of Business Administration with a double major: Finance & Business Management. She married SSG Edward J. Smith in 2008. She became a REALTOR® in 2010, and joined the Women’s Council in 2011. She served as the 2014 Women’s Council of REALTORS® El Paso del Norte President and has been involved at the local and state level ever since. She is currently serving as a Director of the Greater El Paso Association of REALTORS® and works with Century 21 The Edge, where she has received multiple awards and recognition for sales and quality service.
