A.  Community Involvement

Active in church activities having sung in the choir and as chairman of the personnel committee.  Involved in charity auctions for the American Heart Association, NAM, Jeans and Jewels, Houston NW Chamber and Hearts in Heels by donating her vacation homes. Volunteers at The Village at Gleannloch Farms where Mom was a resident in assisted living.  As a charter member of the Women’s Business Forum, involved in many charity events benefiting such companies as NAM, Cypress Creek EMS, The Girl Scouts, The Wounded Warrior Project, Lone Star College Foundation and other local charities.

B.  Personal Contribution

Charter member of Women’s Council of REALTORS®,  licensed real estate broker .  Member of HAR, NAR, Houston NW Chamber of Commerce, TREPAC, Texas Land Title Association and the American Land Title Association.  Has taught many classes over the years to new REALTORS.  Previously involved in the Optimist Club and mentoring troubled children.  Involved in the D.A.R.E. program.   Worked with Women Helping Women in donations.

C.  Career Achievements

Obtained her real estate broker’s license in the late 1970’s.
Elected 2013 Woman of Excellence in the Federation of Houston Professional Women.
First and past president of the Greater Houston Escrow Officer’s Association.
Recognized as top producing office of StarTex Title Co. for many months over the last 13 years.

D.  Mentored

Had the opportunity to take many young women under my wings and train them in either the title or real estate industry.

E.  Personal

Married to Steve Crocker for 34 years.  They have 3 grown sons and 1 grandson and 1 granddaughter.  He is a real estate broker and property manager.  She has been actively involved in church, having sung in the choir, and chaired several committees.  Most recently her ministry has been taking care of her elderly Mom.

Judy Crocker Bio

Judy Crocker has been active in real estate in the Houston Northwest area since 1974.  She stated in the title business and within 3 years became an escrow officer and manager.  While working and raising 3 small boys, she attended real estate school and obtained her real estate broker’s license.  After working many hours selling real estate, she was offered the opportunity to go back into the title business, freeing up more time to raise her children.  Now she is Executive Vice President of StarTex Title Company on Spring Cypress, and closing many commercial transaction in addition to residential properties.

She has been married to Steve for 33 years, and has 3 wonderful sons, 1 grandson and 1 granddaughter.

Having grown up in Denver, she graduated as valedictorian of her high school class and attended University of Colorado before starting her family and moving to Texas.  Since she was born in Houston, but only stayed till she was 2, she is a true Texan and got back as fast as she could!

She was first and past president of the Greater Houston Escrow Officer’s Association, is a member of Women’s Council of REALTORS®, a licensed real estate broker and member of Houston Association of REALTORS and National Association of REALTORS, member of Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce and a charter TREPAC member of Women’s Business Forum.  She also is a member of Texas Land Title Association and the American Land Title Association and has taught classes for Realtors new in the business.

Judy is also involved in many church and community activities.  She was Chairman of the Personnel Committee at her church for over 10 years and volunteers at Village of Gleannloch Farms where her Mom resides.  Right now her mission is caring for her 94 year old Mom, who has been her inspiration of all her life.  She was a doctor in a man’s world and always taught Judy she could be whatever she wanted to be.  She is a true Christian example for Judy as well as others and is a great influence in her circle of friends at Village of Gleannloch Farms.

Judy’s priorities have always been her faith, God first, then family, friends and work.
