Area B Chapters focus on VALUE in 2014!
Where can you network with selfless leaders across Texas who care about the life and careers of other real estate professionals?
Where can you share in the accomplishments and yes even challenges faced by dedicated women as they make their way as leaders and real estate professionals?
The answer –Women’s Council.
I want to thank the remarkable leaders of all the chapters in Area B who have given me the opportunity to work along side of them:
Melissa Clinton – Brazos Valley, Lisa Jay – Central Texas, Stacey Buettner – Collin County, Melinda Epps – Dallas Metro East, Beth Fitzgerald – Dallas, Kara Neely-Goble – Heart of Texas, Patti Lyerla – Greater Tarrant County, Sherry Jones – Southwest Dallas, and Cindy Covalt Tyler Chapter.
All year long, value has been the catch-word of the chapters in Area B. They have accomplished some extraordinary things.
Brazos Valley has had some great meetings. Among them Honoring Our Heroes, Tax Strategies, and Mobile REALTOR®. The members are helping Keep the Brazos Valley Beautiful by cleaning up a forgotten cemetery.
Collin County has been busy focusing on member value and is planning a visit by National President Jo Kenney very soon.
The Dallas Chapter has excelled in many ways. Offering scholarships to individuals to attend the 2015 State Conference was just one. They too have an upcoming visit by National President Jo Kenney in October.
Heart of Texas has forged a strong bond with the local board which has brought about recent invitations to participate in sponsored events. The Heart of Texas Chapter was one of Several chapters that has benefited from bringing in the local chamber of commerce to inform the members of current and future economic conditions and how the housing market would be impacted.
The Tyler chapter has enjoyed increased attendance at their meetings and is striving to give its members opportunities to network and strengthen business relationships.
SW Dallas brought in a Title Attorney to update members on Contracts resulting in so many questions being asked the program ran over.
As in your own chapters, the leadership teams in Area B chapters are dedicated and committed to furthering the leadership and professional skills of their members. I applaud you and your generous spirits.
I also want to express my appreciation to the District Vice Presidents, Susan Mack, Renee Coulson, Sheila Moran and Cindy Cox. You make a great team.
I wish you all the best of Success as you head for the finish line of 2014 and the start line of 2015.
