Area B-3 3rd Quarter 2015 Report
Central Texas: Patton Sides, Membership Marketing Chair
Their first membership mixer was held in June at the Nolan Creek Winery. Their goal for the remainder of the year is to recruit at least 3 REALTOR® members.
Collin County: Sally Bartz, Vice President of Membership
Collin County is growing even closer to achieving their goal of becoming a Mega chapter! They have added six new REALTOR® members this past quarter! They are doing phone trees to remind members of meetings and events and to speak with guests that attended the Business Resource Meetings. Hosting tables at all Association TREPAC events and at Champions Career Day has proven to be quite successful for them. They are looking forward to their Annual Battle of the Bras event, which is scheduled for October 29th. Be sure to reserve your ticket before they are all gone!
Dallas: Kristen Neff, Membership Marketing Chair
Dallas is all set to reach their goal to become a Mega chapter because they have welcomed nine new REALTOR® members! They are finalizing the plans for the Annual High Tea, which is scheduled for October 9th. The theme this year is the Orient Express and is being held at the Belo Mansion. This is an event you won’t want to miss, complete with a fashion show, opportunity drawing and live/silent auctions. Get your ticket today and come bid high and often!
Greater Tarrant County:
Greater Tarrant County has recruited two new REALTOR® members! They have been setting an example with their great programs. The June Program was attended by 22 people and was Maximize Your Social Security Benefits. In July they co-hosted the Kendra Gives Back event with First Western Title. They had about 60 attendees and raised over $400 for The Warm Place, which provides free counseling for children who have lost a parent or sibling. On September 24th they have their Annual Vendor Fair – so far they have 28 vendors signed up. It is free to attend with several chances to win great door prizes!
Heart of Texas Chapter: Teri Tarvin, VP of Membership
Heart of Texas has also held educational and informational Business Resource Meetings. Legislative updates was the program in May. It provided attendees with great information on the issues that will have a direct impact on REALTORS®. Their August meeting provided some Continuing Education credit, led by Candy Cooke. The course was on appraisals and the upcoming changes. Heart of Texas has their Style Show planned for September so keep an eye out for the announcements and information on that exciting event. It is sure to be one that you won’t want to miss!
It is my pleasure and honor to serve,
Texas District Vice-President, Area B-3
