Women’s Council Texas 2011- A Fantastic Start

All of you have been working toward you goals for Retention & Recruiting for the National Contestl! CONGRATULATIONS to AUSTIN Chapter, 2nd place winner in the mega category for retention, with a 71.26% retention rate ending 3-31-11.  Austin Chapter will receive their award at the WCR National meeting in Washington DC in May.  Read more…..

State Officer Nominations

Nominations for state officer positions will be taken throughout the month of May. Please see our state standing rules for recommended qualifications and experience for state officer positions, as well as job descriptions and travel requirements. Nominees will be contacted and asked to fill out applications prior to being interviewed in June.  Interview date and exact location in The Woodlands, TX will be announced in May. 2010 Chapter Awards

Congratulations to each of you and your chapters for a job well done in 2010. The annual business plans were all turned in within the National deadline and most of our chapters earned Gold level awards for their excellence in following this roadmap to chapter success! Thank you to our 2010 governors and district vice presidents and to our 2010 state line officers for their diligence in assisting each chapter to meet these goals, review plans and answer questions regarding the plans throughout the year.  Read more….
